My Daily Meal
UX/UI design of fictional app My Daily Meal.
My Daily Meal is an application that gives three meal recommendation every day.
Meal recommendation resets everyday and users are introduced with different meal each time.
Initial idea for My Daily Meal was thought out for people who eat out often, but struggles to decide what they want to eat.
Set Up Page
My Daily Meal’s set up page has been designed to give better flexibility to users.
Each user can set up there preferred locations, food types, and mood of the restaurant.
These settings can help the app to find better restaurants and meal options for the specific user.
Other features
My Daily Meal gives users fastest route to the recommended restaurant once the user selects the meal.
Just in case the user might like other meals from the same restaurant, the app gives user yet another three runner-up meals.
To avoid users from having to search up distance and opening hours for the restaurant, My Daily Meal displays all these information on the map page.
Conclusion
With multiple interviews with possible users and prototype testing, My Daily Meal developed user-centric designs that avoids as many problems as possible.
Throughout research and interview process, we discovered that applications that require any kind of recommendation of item needs to have some sort of pre-setting for both developers and users to interact with the app more freely.
Implementation of Artificial-Intelligence that learns as users chooses options in application will dramatically improve user experience as well.
